Read the Bible and Use Highlights

Bible is a reading tool for reading passages, marking important verses with highlights and tags, and following reading plans on your own or with others.

Open a Passage

  1. Click the Bible icon in the icon bar on the left.
  2. In the sidebar, expand Old Testament or New Testament.
  3. Click a book name to open the passage.
  4. Choose a chapter above the passage, or move with Previous chapter and Next chapter.

💡 Tip: Press F2 to open the Go to verse window. Enter something like 'John 3:16' or 'Gen1:1' to jump straight to that verse.

Change the Translation

  1. Click Choose a translation above the passage.
  2. Choose from Korean, English, and Spanish translations.
  3. To download more translations or remove them, go to Bible translation management in Settings › Bible.

✋ Note: Some translations limit how many verses you can copy at a time. If you go over the limit, you see the message "This translation allows copying up to N verses at a time", and a source notice is added when you copy.

Highlight Verses

  1. Click the Highlight button next to the verse you want to mark. You can also right-click the verse (press and hold on mobile).

  3. You can also select several verses at once and color them the same.

Add Tags

  1. Click the Tag button (🏷) next to a verse.
  2. Enter a tag and add it.
  3. Click a tag under Tags in the sidebar to see all the verses with that tag.

Follow a Reading Plan

  1. Under Reading Plans in the sidebar, create a plan with Add reading plan. Set the starting book, the ending book, and the start date.
  2. You can invite other people to the plan to read together.
  3. When you finish a chapter, click Mark as read or Read and go to next chapter at the bottom of the passage.
  4. Open the plan to see your progress in My progress.

📎 Note: Invitations from other people appear under Invitations in the sidebar. Open one and click Accept invitation to join that plan.
