Manage Work in Workboards

A workboard is where you turn your to-dos into items and manage them by status, assignee, and date. Views such as list, kanban, Gantt, and calendar let you see the same items in different layouts.

Create a Workboard

  1. Click the Add button at the top of the left sidebar.
  2. In the window that opens, choose Blank workboard.
  3. The new workboard is added to the sidebar tree.

💡 Tip: Click the ▾ next to Add to create a Workboard directly, or create one from a workboard template you saved in My templates.

Open a Workboard

  1. Click a workboard in the left sidebar tree.
  2. When the workboard opens, review the current view and items.
  3. Switch to another view from the view tabs at the top. If you need a new view, click Add a view and choose from List, Kanban, Gantt, Feed, Chart, Calendar, and Gallery.

💡 Tip: Workboards appear in the space tree together with notes. Put a workboard under a related note to find it easily within your project structure.

Add a New Item

  1. Click Add in the workboard. In the Gantt view, click Add and then choose Add Task.
  2. Enter an item title.
  3. Fill in fields such as status, assignee, and dates as needed.
  4. Click Save to add it to the workboard.

✋ Note: You can choose an assignee from the members of the current space.

Use Filters and Sorting

When you have many items, use filters and sorting to see only the ones you need.

  1. Click the Filter button (funnel icon) at the top of the workboard.
  2. Click Add filter and choose a property, condition, and value.
  3. In the list view, click a column name and choose Sort ascending or Sort descending.
  4. To remove all conditions, click Clear in the filter window.

Save a Workboard Setup as a Template

  1. Choose Save as template from the more menu at the top of the workboard.
  2. Enter a template name and save.
  3. Next time you create a workboard, choose it from My templates to start with the same setup.

✋ Note: A template saves only the fields, statuses, and views, not the items. You cannot save a workboard shared with you as a template.
